1. Log into your account via www.twitter.com
2. Click on 'Settings'
3. Click on 'Devices'
4. Enter in your mobile number in international format (e.g. +6421xxx xxxx) into the box
5. Tick the tick box for 'Its okay for Twitter to send txt messages to my phone. Standard rates apply.'
6. Click on 'Save'
7. You will be asked to send a code to the short code 8987
8. From the same mobile enter the code provided on twitter into a text message and send to 8987 (TWTR)
9. You will receive a confirmation SMS to say that your device is now set up
10. Refresh www.twitter.com to manage your device updates
11. You have the ability to turn device updates on for everyone you follow by going into your 'following' list and using the radio buttons beside each persons account.
You have the ability to turn on sleep which will stop ALL device updates coming through to their mobile during a certain time.
How to sign up for Twitter?
Go to www.twitter.com, click on "sign up NOW". Then, follow the prompt to create your account and finish the set-up.
